Comfy day, and a visit from MJ and baby Evie! It was such a great day at Discover Speech Therapy. We wore comfy clothes today to remind us that children with autism often have sensory sensitivities, but there are many things we can do to support their sensory development, and help them get regulated. Children can best learn and grow when their body is regulated. If you notice your child has sensory sensitivities, we know how to help! Tomorrow, wear red or gold as a symbol of autism acceptance.
