🎂 Today, we’re celebrating Matthew’s birthday! 🎉

If you’re a regular at our Washington Pike location, though, you may know him better as “Clark.” 🤣

The nickname has a story! When Matthew first started answering the phone using his real name, patients would sometimes confuse him with our pharmacist, Matt. To clear things up, Matthew began introducing himself as “the clerk.” One patient misheard him and started calling him Clark—and the nickname stuck! Our staff thought it was hilarious, and Matthew fully embraced his new alter ego.

Whether he’s answering phones, helping patients, filling orders to ship, or sharing a laugh with his coworkers, Matthew brings a great attitude to everything he does.

When we asked him his favorite part of working at Belew Drug, his answer was simple:

“I love working with the wonderful staff!” 💙

We’re certainly glad to have Matthew—or Clark!—as part of our Belew Drugs family. Happy Birthday, Matthew! We hope you have a fantastic day! 🎈🥳

🎉 Join us in wishing Dr. Elizabeth Royal a very happy birthday! 🎂

Dr. Royal is our dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge at our Choto location, where her kindness, compassion, and genuine care for her patients have made her such a special part of the Belew Drugs family.

When we asked Elizabeth what she loves most about working at Belew, she shared:

“I’ve loved working at Belew the past 10 years! Especially my time at our Choto location, where I have gotten to grow close relationships with the patients I serve in my community. Making these meaningful, trusting relationships is why I became a pharmacist. I’ve missed everyone, and I look forward to being back at the pharmacy in September!”

Elizabeth is currently enjoying some well-deserved time at home with baby Bennett, but we know her patients and Belew family are looking forward to welcoming her back next month! 💙

🎉 Happy Birthday to Dr. Brandon Ladage! 🎂

We are so thankful to have Brandon as part of the Belew Drugs family! You can often find him in our compounding lab, using his creativity, knowledge, and problem-solving skills to create customized medications for our patients.

Brandon goes above and beyond to care for his patients and is always willing to take the extra time to help however he can. He is also an excellent teacher and mentor to our pharmacy students, generously sharing his knowledge and helping prepare the next generation of pharmacists.

And he definitely knows how to make the workday more fun! Between his dry sense of humor, quick wit, and trivia questions, Brandon keeps us laughing and learning along the way. 😊

One of Brandon’s favorite things about working at Belew Drugs is the environment, and he certainly plays a big part in making it such a fun and positive place to work!
