Your newborn may…

• Sleep 14–17 hours total in a 24-hour period
• Wake every 2–4 hours to eat
• Have day and night mixed up
• Take short, unpredictable naps
• Need help getting back to sleep
• Sleep best when being held

The truth?
Newborn sleep is not supposed to be predictable yet.

Their circadian rhythm is still developing, and frequent waking is normal.

You aren't creating bad habits.
You're caring for a newborn.

If you're ready to book a 1:1 call to get more support, drop a 👶🏼in the comments and I'll reach out!

You can absolutely love being a mom and still miss the person you were before motherhood.

You can be so grateful for your babies and still miss your independence.
You can love your life and still feel overwhelmed by it.
You can cherish these years and still wish for a little more space to breathe.

Motherhood is beautiful—but it’s also a huge identity shift. And it’s okay if you’re still figuring out who you are in this new version of your life.

You don’t have to feel guilty for missing parts of your old life. It doesn’t mean you love your children any less.

You’re allowed to hold both.

You’re a mom. And you’re still you, too. 🤍

When you leave your child with someone else, you’re trusting them with your most precious person.

Whether it’s a babysitter, grandparents, an in-home daycare provider, family friends, or another caregiver, everyone who cares for your child should know what to do in an emergency.

CPR and choking response aren’t just skills for parents—they’re skills every caregiver should have. In those first few moments of an emergency, confidence and quick action matter.

That’s why I offer private group CPR classes! Gather the people you trust most with your little one, and I’ll come teach everyone together. You’ll all receive the same evidence-based training, have the opportunity to ask questions, and leave feeling more prepared and confident.

It’s one of the best gifts you can give your family: the peace of mind that everyone caring for your child knows how to respond when every second counts.

🤍 Ready to schedule a private group session? Send me a message, and let’s find a time that works for your village.

Wake windows can be a helpful tool, but they aren’t meant to add more pressure to your newborn days.

Every baby is different, and while wake windows can help you recognize when your little one is ready for sleep, they aren’t a perfect science. Some days your baby may stay awake a little longer, and other days they’ll be ready for a nap much sooner. The goal isn’t to watch the clock every minute—it’s to learn your baby’s cues and respond with confidence.

If you’re feeling like you’re constantly wondering, “Should my baby be asleep by now?” you’re not alone.

💤 Comment “SLEEP” below if you’d like help figuring out your newborn’s sleep or wake windows. I’d love to help you find an approach that works for your baby and your family.

Back-to-school season has a way of filling every square on the calendar.

School supply shopping. Open houses. Sports. Activities. New routines.

Before life gets hectic, take time to do one thing you hope you never have to use: learn infant and child CPR.

Emergencies don't wait for a convenient time, and knowing what to do in those first few moments can make all the difference. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, babysitter, or caregiver, CPR is one of the most valuable skills you can have.

Don't let another busy season pass by saying, "I've been meaning to take a class."

Give yourself the confidence to respond if the unexpected happens.

🤍 Have CPR on your back-to-school checklist this year. Send me a message to learn more about upcoming classes.

Back-to-school season has a way of sneaking up on us… 🤍

The lists, the routines, the schedules, the emotions, the endless reminders — it can feel like a lot all at once.

But you don’t have to have every detail figured out today.

Start with one small step. One backpack. One bedtime routine. One grocery trip. One conversation.

You’ve walked through new seasons before, and you’ll find your rhythm again.

Give yourself and your family some grace as you prepare for what’s next. ✨

Breastfeeding can hold so many emotions all at once. 🤍

Some days it feels natural and peaceful. Other days it feels like your entire day revolves around feeding, soothing, and trying to figure it all out.

Both can be true.

The late-night feeds, the cluster feeding, the questions, the wins, and the hard moments are all part of the journey.

Your baby doesn’t need a perfect feeding experience. They need you — your love, your comfort, and your care.

However today’s feeding journey looks, give yourself some grace. You’re doing more than you realize. ✨

Potty training isn’t a milestone to rush—it’s a developmental process that depends more on readiness than age.

Here are a few things I want you to know before you start:

• Readiness matters more than timing
Look for signs like staying dry for longer periods, awareness of wet/dirty diapers, and communicating basic needs

• Accidents are part of learning
They are expected and do not mean training is “failing”

• Consistency helps more than intensity
Small, repeatable routines build understanding over time

• Pressure tends to backfire
Research shows children learn toileting skills best in low-stress, supportive environments

• There is a wide normal range
“Typical” potty training age varies significantly between children

You don’t have to force it for it to happen.

If you’re in the potty training season right now, what’s been the hardest part for you?

Back-to-school season can bring a lot of pressure around potty training… but your child’s readiness matters more than the calendar. 🤍

If you’re hoping to make progress before school starts, focus on building skills, confidence, and consistency instead of rushing the process.

Small steps add up. And remember — potty training isn’t about getting it done perfectly. It’s about supporting your child as they learn something new.

Need help knowing where to start? Comment POTTY and I’ll send you support. ✨
