One of the most joyful and meaningful experiences at Caris Healthcare was celebrating Nan through her Three Most Important Things (TMIT).

As part of our commitment to providing personalized hospice care, we learn what matters most to each patient so we can honor their life, passions, and individuality. For Nan, that meant bringing together friends, family, and loved ones from across the country for a living tribute filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

This special gathering was made possible through the collaboration of Nan's daughter, Pinnacle Assisted Living, and Caris Healthcare of Knoxville, whose teamwork helped create a truly remarkable celebration. Guests arrived in fun and quirky costumes, creating a spirit-week atmosphere all in one incredible day. There were refreshments, fellowship, and plenty of smiles as everyone joined together to celebrate the fun-loving person Nan is.

The best part? Nan was able to be there, surrounded by those who care about her most, enjoying every special moment. Family and friends celebrated her life while she was present to experience the joy, love, and laughter firsthand. It was a beautiful reminder that hospice care is about more than medical support. It's about helping patients live fully, create lasting memories, and celebrate the moments that matter most.

At Caris Healthcare of Knoxville, we believe every life leaves a lasting legacy. During our annual Memorial Service, we gathered with families, loved ones, and staff to honor the patients who passed away during the past year.

Through shared memories, heartfelt reflections, and uplifting messages from our chaplains and administrator, we celebrated the impact these individuals had on those around them. A touching highlight of the day was the release of live butterflies, each one representing a life remembered and loved. As the butterflies took flight, they served as a beautiful reminder that the memories of those we have lost continue to live on in our hearts.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful day of remembrance and healing.
