Good healthcare starts with a good conversation.

That idea is built into the way we practice at Pillar Primary Care. We schedule 30–60 minute office visits every time, because people need time to tell their story, ask questions, and be heard.

And that is just the office visit.

Our members also have direct phone and email access, so many conversations start with a quick message:

“Hey Doc…”

I see messages like that several times a day. Sometimes it is something simple. Sometimes it is the beginning of a deeper issue. And when it needs to move to an in-person visit, we have often already started sorting through the concern before the patient ever walks through the door.

No rushed visits. No per-visit fee. No pressure to squeeze everything into one appointment.

Just more time, better access, and the freedom to keep talking until we get to the heart of the issue.

We like keeping it in the family. When we ran into an over pressured water issue we reached out to Jesse Katz at Tennessee Home Craft and Plumbing Inc. and scheduled his son Jacob to take care of it. They’ve been patients of the practice since nearly the beginning and they stand by their work. We take care of them and they take care of us. It’s how it should be.

Every new adult patient receives a comprehensive baseline lab evaluation included with membership — 50+ individual health markers, such as:

We provide comprehensive medical care.

At Pillar Primary Care, weight loss does not start with medication.

It starts with the Four Pillars of Health:
• Nutrition

Only after we address these foundations does the fifth pillar become appropriate:
• Medications and supplements (including GLP-1s)

For some patients, medications are helpful.
For others, they’re unnecessary — or even counterproductive without the basics in place.
