It’s National Health Center Week! This year’s theme, “Building Innovative Care Where It Matters Most,” highlights the important role Community Health Centers play in creating healthier communities through accessible, compassionate, and forward-thinking care.

Every August, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) recognizes health centers across the country that provide quality healthcare services to millions of people each year. At River Valley Health, we are proud to be part of that mission by delivering person-centered, comprehensive care to individuals and families throughout our communities — regardless of income or insurance status.

From primary care and behavioral health to pediatrics, women’s health, dental, and pharmacy services, we remain committed to meeting people where they are and expanding access to the care they need most.

Our Medical Director, Dr. Arieal Felix, recently joined Kim Hansard, Morning Show Co-host on STAR 102.1's Marc & Kim Show, as part of The East Tennessee Report to talk about River Valley Health and the care we provide for patients and families across East Tennessee.

When asked about her main goal as a primary care physician, Dr. Felix shared a simple but powerful answer: “To care for everybody.” Her response reflects our mission of providing compassionate, comprehensive care for all who walk through our doors.
