If you’ve been invited to like/follow this page, you’re probably wondering…What is Recover Kodiak?
Recover Kodiak is a few passionate individuals fighting to ensure that ALL people in Kodiak impacted by addiction have safe, effective, and immediate treatment and recovery support. Our mission is to improve Kodiak’s currently fractured and incomplete recovery system- to transform it into something more effective and easily available. We also aim to create awareness, and to inform and educate both active users and others in the community of ways to reduce stigma and harm. Our hope is to one day become a nonprofit organization, but in the meantime we know that every bit of awareness, education, and assistance we provide through this page can help save lives. We hope that you’ll follow us as we work to make a difference in the lives of those who suffer from addiction on our beautiful island!
