Pittsburgh was a social marathon and I loved every single minute of it. We got a big house at Deep Creek with eighteen of us, laughing, eating together, going out on the boat, riding bikes, walking, connecting with my grandnieces. And then back at my parents’ house it was a different kind of full, cards and co****le every night with Aspen and my mom and dad just being together. Hanging out with my sisters, bike rides, walks, long talks.

People ask me how I can be with family for that long and actually enjoy it. And I always tell them that I’ve done a lot of work on myself and learned how to navigate being together in a really intentional way. Getting enough sleep, keeping up with my prayer and meditation, really tuning in to what I need. There were moments where I could feel fear creeping in around doing too much and instead of pushing through I would stop, get present, pray. Sometimes I would realize it was just fear and I could keep going. Sometimes I realized my body genuinely needed more rest or more quiet time to myself.

My cup runneth over. That’s really the only way I can describe it. Germany here we come

You know what the food noise costs you — not just in the kitchen, but in your presence, your relationships, the version of your life you keep putting on hold. Body Compassion Collective is $97, it's waiting for you right now, and the only thing standing between you and quiet is the decision to say yes. Today is the day.

Get your protein up. Don’t eat past a certain time at night. Check your macros. Get your steps in. Don’t do too much cardio or you’ll lose your weight training gains.

All of it is good information. And it’s exhausting.

Some days you have the energy for it, and it’s working. Other days you’re just done — done with the rules, done with tracking, done with all of it.

The real issue is the intention underneath it all. If the intention is to fix yourself, to make yourself better because you’ve decided you’re doing it all wrong, you’ll stay on that hamster wheel — swinging between white-knuckling it and giving up entirely.

There’s a third way. Doing the things that are actually good for you, without pressure, without willpower, without needing to believe you’re wrong first.

That’s what I teach inside Body Compassion Collective. Link in bio.

One of the first things women ask me when they hear about this approach is some version of: "But won't I just stop caring?" What they really mean is: won't I just give up, stop trying, and gain weight?

I remember standing in my kitchen one night, telling myself I wasn't going to eat anything else. I wasn't hungry. I knew I wasn't hungry. And I stood there for a few minutes in this strange standoff with myself — because letting go of the vigilance, even for one night, felt genuinely dangerous. Like the only thing between me and complete loss of control was my willingness to keep holding on.

That moment is where most people keep trying harder instead of understanding what's actually happening.

What finally shifted for me wasn't a technique. It was when I stopped trying to hold it all together on my own and let the Divine meet me there instead. That fear — the fear that letting go meant everything would fall apart kept me in the cycle longer than anything else. But the discipline built on that kind of pressure was never designed to hold.

What I've watched happen inside Body Compassion Collective is that when women start understanding what's pulling them back to the kitchen when they're already full and don't want to be there, they stop needing to white-knuckle it.
They stop waking up in the same conversation with themselves every morning.

A friend opened up to me recently about her food. She'd been carrying it quietly for a long time, and when she finally said it out loud, what came out was: "I know exactly what I need to do. I just keep sitting here going, oh God, again."
She wasn't confused about her pattern. She could name it, describe it, predict it. The exhaustion wasn't just around food — it was around how much mental space the whole thing was consuming, on top of everything else already piling on. She'd had information for years. She'd had discipline. She even understood, on some level, why she kept ending up in the same place. And still, she kept ending up there.

She joined Body Compassion Collective, and what shifted for her wasn't the understanding — she already had that. It was finally having the tools to do something different in the moment, when the pattern wanted to take over.
That's who this is for. The woman who already knows how to control her food and is done with the cycle that control creates.

Here's what's inside:
A module for freedom with food — learning to listen to what your body actually wants, stopping the restrict-binge cycle, and making peace with eating without the constant negotiation.
A module for body confidence — not the kind that comes from losing weight, but the kind that comes from stopping the performance.
A module for self-talk — catching the voice that says I know better than this the moment it arrives, and replacing it with something that actually tells the truth about who you are.
A module for compassion — becoming your own best friend, practiced in the small moments until it becomes the loudest voice in the room.
A module for living gracefully — because this work doesn't stay in the kitchen.
Plus a Kingdom Healing Activation, and a movement practice from my Pleasure Plan course.
The investment is $97. Lifetime access. Start today.

"I've tried things before. Why would this be different?"You've done the inner work......You've sat with the pattern, examined it, grieved it fully. It's still here. The pattern lives in your nervous system, separate from your story, your parents, your history. Body Compassion Collective works directly with that response, the part all your processing was never built to reach.

For a long time I thought healing my relationship with food was going to be one big moment. Some shift so undeniable I would feel it land and know I was finally free.
That's not how it happened.

What actually changed things were the small moments. The ones that didn't feel dramatic at all. Walking past something and not eating it, because my body genuinely didn't want it and I actually listened. Saying something kind to myself instead of the usual criticism, almost by accident. Slowing down enough to notice I was full and choosing to stop, from a kind of quiet respect for myself I was still learning how to have.

None of those moments felt like healing while they were happening. They just felt like small choices. But they were accumulating into something real. And over time, the noise quieted and the obsessing softened. The food stopped having so much power. Thank GOD!!!!!! It felt like a miracle.

That's what healing actually looks like. And it's what I've watched happen, over and over, with the women inside Body Compassion Collective. It works. Not because it's magic, but because it goes to the place the diets never reached.

If you're going to do something different with this, this is where it starts.

"Why would I ever want to give Food up? I actually can't give it up."
That's what a client said to me recently, and it stopped the whole conversation.

We'd been talking about the overeating — the pattern she couldn't break no matter how clearly she understood it. And I said to her: when you try to stop, you're not just putting down a behavior. You're asking the part of you that learned to survive on that comfort to let go of the only thing that ever felt like love. That part of you will do whatever it takes to protect that bond, because if it gives it up, what else does it have?

She went quiet for a moment, and then came that line.
When she said it, what moved through her was relief. For the first time the bingeing, the secret eating, the overeating even when she wasn't hungry — all of it made sense. It was the part of her that had learned to find safety and comfort the only way it knew how. And then she said something I haven't forgotten: "I thought I was failing. But what I was doing was actually a loving act. I just didn't know that."

When you understand what the eating has actually been protecting, the fear of letting go stops feeling so impossible — and the real work can finally begin.
That's what changed for her, and it's what I built Body Compassion Collective to do. Not through more willpower, but through Compassion, Confidence, and Curiosity. Tomorrow I want to introduce you to someone who felt exactly what you might be feeling right now.

“I thought I was failing. But what I was doing was actually a loving act. I just didn’t know that.”

A client said this to me recently, and it’s the sentence I’d want every woman stuck in the restrict-binge cycle to hear. The eating was never weakness. It’s the part of you that learned to find safety the only way it knew how — and the moment you see that, shame loses its grip.

That’s what Body Compassion Collective works with directly. Link in bio. in

Food noise doesn’t stop from understanding it. It doesn’t stop from willpower. It stops when your nervous system finally feels safe enough to put it down.

Three things actually create that safety:

🙏Compassion. Not journaling, not affirmations — getting connected to your body, your breath, your center.
💕Confidence. Not the kind you get from losing weight. The kind you reclaim when you stop pretending you’re okay with your body in public while your head is somewhere else entirely.

😍Curiosity. Turning toward the pattern instead of collapsing into shame. Asking: why am I reaching for this right now?

Tomorrow I’m sharing a client story I think is going to bring you some real hope.

Something I notice with almost every woman I work with is that the pattern tends to go one of two ways.

Either you're on track...eating in a way that feels right, feeling good in yourself or you're at lunch with a friend and somewhere between the appetizer and the entrée something shifted, and you're past the point you said you'd stop, not quite sure how you got there.
So you reset. And you try again.

What I've seen is that after enough cycles of this, the back and forth stops feeling like a food problem and starts feeling like a character flaw. Like you just don't have what it takes to get this right.
That's not what's happening. But the loop itself is exhausting, and after a while it starts to feel like those are your only two options — control it, or lose it.
There's a way out of this that doesn't require more control. That's what I'm going to show you next.
