When our residents have amazingly talented grandchildren, we get treated to amazing music.

The MusikSchoepp Duo, hailing from the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, is a dynamic sibling ensemble featuring cellist Ayla Schoeppner and classical guitarist Glen Schoeppner. The pair has been performing together since their early childhood, fostering a deep musical connection that infuses their interpretations with warmth and synergy. Drawing on a shared foundation in classical traditions, they explore a diverse repertoire that highlights the expressive interplay between cello and guitar.

Ayla and Glen recently performed at
Musikfest for their vespers classical music series at the Central Moravian Church. It was a set that made up a full hour of music performed as a Cello and Classical Guitar Duo with a couple solos and some Viola da Gamba pieces mixed in for a few baroque and renaissance pieces.

We are so thankful for the wonderful performance.

As the West End Fair comes to an end, what a fantastic time we had! Our residents enjoyed taking in all the sights, sounds, excitement, and, of course, the delicious fair food!

We’re also so proud to say that our residents came home with a bunch of ribbons for their fair entries! Their creativity, talents, and enthusiasm truly shined.

Thank you, West End Fair, for another wonderful week filled with memories, laughter, and community!

Beautiful days call for courtyard sips!

There’s nothing better than enjoying a refreshing drink surrounded by sunshine, good company, and the beauty of our courtyard. We enjoyed mint sweet tea made with fresh mint picked right from our garden and refreshing lavender lemonade.

A perfect afternoon filled with simple pleasures, fresh flavors, and wonderful memories!

We are currently looking for 3 volunteers to help push wheelchairs around the West End Fair for a few hours. We will depart Bush's at 1pm and depart around 4:30pm.
