Opening its doors in 1999, Mountain Valley Therapy has established itself as a leader in rehabilitation services for the Grande Ronde Valley and beyond. We are proud to serve patients from all of Eastern Oregon, Eastern Washington, Idaho, and as far away as Utah and Texas. Our Therapists are trained in advanced manual therapy techniques that are found to be successful with patients who have had other treatments fail. In addition to standard orthopedic and neuro treatment techniques, we offer treatments that are not a part of many standard physical therapy practices such as CranioSacral Therapy, muscle - energy technique, strain/counter strain, manual lymphatic drainage, and sensory integration therapy. Hundreds of hours of continuing education are taken each year by our therapy staff to provide our patients with the most up-to-date treatment techniques. We treat every patient as an individual and consider the whole person when planning physical and occupational therapy treatments. Our goal is to have pain-free, healthy, satisfied patients who are able to participate in all the activities they desire. At Mountain Valley Therapy our mission is to honor and glorify God in all that we think, say, and do. We were pleased to welcome Senator Todd Nash to Mountain Valley Therapy on Monday for an important conversation about the challenges facing rural healthcare.

We discussed rural recruitment and retention, patient access to care, clinic costs and reimbursement rates, as well as the administrative burden and insurance practices that impact healthcare providers and patients.

We also had deeper conversations surrounding loan forgiveness opportunities for rural communities, prior authorization, and reimbursement for physical therapy services.

We appreciate Senator Nash taking the time to visit our clinic and hear directly from healthcare providers about the issues affecting access to quality care in rural communities. Conversations like these are an important part of working toward solutions that support both patients and the providers who serve them.

This year, APTA’s “PT For Future Me” campaign highlights an important message: physical therapy isn’t just about recovering from an injury or surgery. PT can help people build strength, maintain mobility, prevent future injuries, stay active, and support their health throughout every stage of life.

At Mountain Valley Therapy, we see every day how physical therapy can help people move with greater confidence, return to the activities they enjoy, and work toward a healthier, more active future. Pete has been helping patients at Mountain Valley Therapy for the past two years, providing personalized, evidence-based care to help individuals regain function and improve their quality of life.

His clinical expertise includes:

We are SO excited to welcome Ron back to the Mountain Valley Therapy team!

With more than 30 years of experience, Ron specializes in CranioSacral Therapy, helping individuals find relief from migraines and chronic pain. He also has experience working with infants experiencing digestive issues and failure to thrive, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients of all ages.
