In a colorfully-decorated meeting room at Monument Hill Nursing Center Tuesday in La Grange, a steady stream of well-wishers came to congratulate Willie and Dot Kana. “We made it,” smiled Dot, 94, as she put her arm around Willie, 98, as he sat in a wheel chair.

Today's Fourth of July celebration was filled with festive fun from start to finish! 🇺🇸✨

Residents enjoyed a fireworks display presented by our Activity Director, Sidney, followed by a golf cart parade hosted by Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club! Bubbles and popsicles helped everyone stay cool while taking in the festivities. 🍧🎆

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our celebration possible. 💙
