💪🏼 We don’t just challenge our residents—we challenge ourselves, too! 💪🏼

When our PTA, Cheryl, presented a challenging activity to one of our residents, the response was basically, “Well, YOU do it first!” 😂

Challenge accepted! 🙌🏼

At Avir at La Grange, we believe in putting ourselves in our residents’ shoes. We’ll never ask our residents to tackle a task or exercise without being willing to jump in and try it ourselves!

We challenge together. We work together. We grow stronger together. ❤️

Sometimes therapy means stepping outside of your comfort zone, and sometimes it means proving to your therapist that they better be ready to practice what they preach! 😉💪🏼

Because in our Therapy Department, we’re not just asking our residents to rise to the challenge…we’re rising right alongside them! 👏🏼
