We are pleased to announce that we will again be offering inpatient and outpatient Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services for children and adults at AVRMC starting in July!

SLP services available include:
- Assessment, clinical diagnosis, and treatment of:
- Speech disorders (production, fluency, resonance)
- Language disorders (receptive and expressive)
- Social communication disorders (verbal and non-verbal)
- Cognitive-communication disorders (thought organization, paying attention, remembering, planning, and problem-solving)
- Swallowing and feeding disorders
- Treatment of neurological disorders including Parkinson’s Disease
- Communication board training
- Training and education for family/caregivers

Our SLP is trained and certified in:
- Vital-Stimulation for dysphagia
- Compensatory swallowing maneuvers and strategies
- LSVT for Parkinson’s Disease
- Modified Barium Swallow Studies and bedside swallow evaluations

Advanced training in laryngeal videostroboscopy (laryngeal imaging)

🎨 Art Class – March 20th🎨

We’re excited to invite your child to our next Art Class on March 20th! Previously exclusively a homeschool art class, this month we are opening it up to any child to celebrate spring break!

Students will have the opportunity to explore new art techniques, express their creativity, and enjoy time creating with friends in a positive, encouraging environment. All skill levels are welcome!

Aunty B's is excited to offer a fun and beginner-friendly Crochet Class! Participants will learn the basics of crochet while creating a project they can be proud of. It’s a wonderful way to build creativity, patience, and confidence in a relaxed and supportive setting.
