Experts report some children will spend 50+ hours a week in front of a screen during the summer months.
This much screen time can cause headaches, dry eyes, and irritability. Here are some tips to help manage digital eye strain.
🔹Follow the 20/20/20 rule. Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
🔹Use proper positioning. The ideal computer screen position is at a 10 to 15 degree angle below eye level when your child is sitting up.
🔹Lower the lights. Dimmer lights are better for viewing bright computer screens.
