🃏❤️ Friendship, fun, and a little friendly competition!

At Bay Ridge, meaningful connections are made every day. Our residents always look forward to visits from our Ombudsman, who stops by each week to spend time with them and enjoy a few rounds of cards. These visits bring smiles, laughter, and wonderful conversation that brighten everyone’s day.

We also love seeing residents stay engaged through games and activities that encourage socialization, focus, and fun, whether it’s a card game with friends or a challenging round of Jenga!

Moments like these help make Bay Ridge feel like home. ✨

Fun times and great memories made all week long during National Nursing Home Week at Bay Ridge! 🎉❤️

Residents and staff enjoyed daily themed activities filled with laughter, smiles, and togetherness. From Ice Cream Sundaes 🍨 and Slushy Day 🥤 to fun games and special moments shared throughout the week, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

We wrapped up the celebration with delicious hamburgers hot off the grill for everyone 🍔👏 Thank you to our amazing staff for helping make this week so special for our residents!

Bay Ridge celebrated Mother’s Day with a sweet afternoon full of smiles, fellowship, and special moments honoring the amazing mothers in our community. 🌸💕 Residents enjoyed spending time together, sharing laughs, and feeling celebrated on their special day.

We are so grateful for the wonderful women who bring so much love, wisdom, and joy to Bay Ridge each and every day. Happy Mother’s Day from all of us! 💐

Who said therapy was boring? Definitely not at Bayridge! Our therapy team keeps the energy up with music, movement, and lots of fun along the way. We love seeing our residents smiling, participating, and cheering each other on every day!

No rush - just a calm start to the day and a chance to slow down for a minute. ✨

Spending a little extra time with our residents today. We talked about their past, their families, the little things that still make them smile. Nothing fancy, just real conversation.

Because sometimes, the most important part of this job isn’t the tasks we complete—it’s the moments we take to sit, listen, and simply be there.
