Okay. Now that the busyness of the weekend is over, I have to tell you about something relaxing and self-caring I did last week.
I had a facial by Vital Nourishment and Therapeutic Wellness on Thursday and it was WONDERFUL!
I'd never had a facial before and wasn't sure what to expect. Friends! It was a massage for my face! And hands, shoulders, scalp.
Not only does Crystal Tuttle use pure and natural products that she's personally researched and chosen for you, the care she uses with touch and pampering is the best!
And since I'm "chatty", she didn't mind that I talked through most of it. πŸ˜†

Ready for a Pop Up Re-Do??? I am!!

Who doesn't love a great Coffee House? Fresh Start CoffeeHouse is one of the best around and I'll be holding a Hippie Chick Pop Up on Saturday, July 25th from 9AM until 12PM.
Stop in for breakfast, a cup of coffee, tea, or smoothie, and all your herbal goodness needs!

So. I've had a problem with my elderberry syrup recently. My regular honey supplier's bees were on a much-needed vacation. I used some other good and local honey, but apparently it just didn't vibe with my recipe. One batch in particular was very sour and fizzed when it was opened, almost as if it was fermenting.
Guess what! The bees are back at it and I have my regular local honey again and I'm so happy to be making this new batch.
So if you've gotten an elderberry syrup from me recently and it wasn't quite "hippie chick herbal harmony" syrup, that's why. It's still good for you! It's still great for you!! It just tasted a little *off*.
This fresh batch will "bee" done this evening and bottled up tomorrow morning. Available on the Etsy shop or for porch pick up.
