On Friday, September 4, ELC PD Coordinator Jennifer Haggart was honored to speak at the Johnny Rodgers Career and Technical Education Scholarships luncheon for the Metropolitan Community College Foundation, celebrating incredible students entering career and technical trades programs. Whether building a strong structure or supporting a child's earliest years of brain development, success relies on getting the fundamentals right from the start. Highlighting the vital importance of strong early childhood foundations, she shared research showing that without early support, children are 30% more likely to never go to college and far more likely to drop out or face lifelong poverty.
