I just want to say that in no way, shape, or form did I share this for validation. That said, I do feel validated.

For the past six months, I’ve gone back and forth, fearful of sharing this message. When I first entered this space almost six years ago, I never could have imagined where I would be today. Like many people, I was trying to force a square peg into a round hole. I was afraid of change, and I was afraid that if I spoke certain truths out loud, they would somehow become reality.

But this is my truth, and I can no longer deny the experiences I’ve had throughout my life or ignore the questions they’ve raised about my God given purpose.

More than anything, I want to say that I value and appreciate all of you. I always will. One of the most meaningful lessons I’ve learned is that we are all just walking each other home. It’s such a simple idea, yet so profoundly true.

Everyone who enters our lives arrives as both a teacher and a student. What a beautiful opportunity it is to play a role in one another’s journeys, to learn from each other, and to grow together along the way.
