It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Garnett "Jay" Giesler, Jr., a beloved physician, leader, mentor, and friend whose impact on our community will be felt for generations.
For more than 30 years, Dr. Giesler faithfully served the patients of Clark-Holder Clinic with extraordinary compassion, skill, and dedication. As a physician and former president of the clinic, he helped shape the legacy of care that continues to guide us today. His commitment to excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care earned the trust and admiration of countless patients, colleagues, and community members.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Giesler devoted his life to serving LaGrange through his leadership, volunteerism, and unwavering faith. Whether caring for patients, supporting local schools and athletics, mentoring others, or serving alongside community organizations, he exemplified what it means to live a life of purpose and service.
We are profoundly grateful for Dr. Giesler's many contributions to Clark-Holder Clinic and to the health and well-being of the community he loved so dearly. His legacy of compassion, integrity, and servant leadership will continue to inspire us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Linda, his children and grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know and love him.

From all of us at Emory at LaGrange, we remember and honor the memory of service members and their families who have sacrificed to protect the freedom we enjoy.

In celebration of Memorial Day, all clinic locations will be closed on Monday, May 25. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26.
