A Message from the Mallett Family
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our son, Brad Mallett.
Brad was many things to many people. He was a son, a friend, a horseman, a salesman, and above all, a man with a tremendous heart. Those who knew him knew his compassion, his sense of humor, and his willingness to help others, often when they needed it most.
Brad loved horses from a young age and carried that passion throughout his life. He later became one of the top salesmen in our company, where his ability to connect with people and genuinely care for others made him successful far beyond the numbers.
Brad was also an avid dog lover. His dogs brought him tremendous joy, companionship, and comfort throughout his life. He especially cherished Sasha, Pepper, Bella, and Boscoe, who were always close to his heart and part of his family.
Like many families across America, our family also faced the challenges of addiction. Brad battled addiction for many years, a disease that affects millions of people and their loved ones. We believe it is important to speak honestly about that struggle, not because it defined him, but because it was part of his journey. Addiction is a disease that does not discriminate, and far too many families understand this pain.
In recent years, Brad also fought cancer with courage and determination.
While Brad faced difficult battles, that is not how we choose to remember him. We choose to remember his kindness, his laughter, his love for people, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
To everyone who prayed for him, encouraged him, supported him, and loved him through the years, thank you. Your kindness meant more than you know.
As a family, we ask for your prayers during this difficult time. We also ask that if you are struggling with addiction, or know someone who is, please reach out for help. There is hope, and there are people who care.
Brad's life mattered. He was loved deeply, and he will be missed beyond words.
Rest easy, son. We love you, and we always will.
