We were excited to have staff attend last week to the Thurston County Board of Health meeting to proclaim May as Mental Health Awareness Month! 🥳In the front row, our Executive Director Joe Avalos, spoke to the board about crisis services and community partnership. 💚🧠This evening the Board of Health proclaimed May as Mental Health Awareness Month in Thurston County. The board recognizes that mental health is an essential part of overall health. Thurston County and its key partners work to improve access to high-quality treatment and support for children and adults in need of mental health services, while recognizing that every individual and community can help end the silence and stigma surrounding mental health by offering encouragement and reminding others that they are not alone.

📣 We are Crisis Helpline Clinicians for the Regional Crisis Line (RCL) and the Washington State 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline at Olympic Health and Recovery Services (OHRS).

You will be providing delivering 24/7/365 crisis intervention services via phone, text, and chat. This role will ensure callers receive timely, compassionate, and culturally responsive crisis care.

We are a Crisis Helpline Supervisor at Olympic Health and Recovery Services (OHRS) to help lead our Regional Crisis Lines!
You will be overseeing a team of Crisis Counselors in providing high-quality crisis intervention services and follow-up care for individuals in crisis.

Previous experience working in a crisis call center or on a crisis line is preferred. The ideal candidate has the ability to provide clinical guidance and interpretation for a variety of cases, navigate coaching, training, and feedback conversations, and build a culture of trust with their team members.
