We are excited to welcome Joe Noffsinger as the new Chief Operating Officer at South Sound Behavioral Hospital. Joe comes to SSBH from Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital, where he served as Chief Nursing Officer. He brings experience across bedside nursing, behavioral health, and hospital leadership, and has spent much of his career working closely with clinical teams in both acute and residential settings. Joe began his career in a Neurological ICU and later worked in youth behavioral health supporting adolescents with complex clinical needs. He also served as Director of Nursing at multiple residential treatment facilities leading care for a high-acuity population. In addition, Joe recently completed his MSN, training as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to further strengthen his clinical foundation. Joe’s peers know him to be a steady and team-oriented leader who focuses on the day-to-day operations in the hospital. In this role, he will assist to strengthen clinical care, support SSBH team mates, and continue building on the initiatives already underway across the hospital. Please join us in welcoming Joe.
