The SPN Meeting (Senior Professionals Network) of South OC in October was a blast! We met at the Dorothy Visser Senior Center and got to hear from Beth Apodaca, Director, about all the incredible resources that Age Well and the Senior Center provides to the seniors in San Clemente. She is an amazing leader and such an inspiration.

I love being a part of this community of dedicated professionals who are committed to serving their clients with integrity, compassion and constant curiosity. Thanks to everyone who made time to be there.

I recently sat down with This Day in Laguna Woods to talk about something close to my heart: our Discovery Tours.

So many families put off looking at senior living because it feels overwhelming, or because the picture in their minds is an outdated one. The Discovery Tour offers a relaxed, no-pressure way to simply go and see. We visit communities together, share a meal, meet the people who live and work there, and leave plenty of room for every question on your mind.

There's no cost, no sales pitch, and no decisions to make. Just a chance to learn, in good company.

Something happened this week that I'm still thinking about.

I was a sponsor at the Health & Wellness Fair hosted by the Dana Point, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Lake Forest Chambers. Keyur Shah of Senior Helpers and Madison Sherwold of Caring Transitions stopped by my table to say hello.

While I was in a longer conversation with a family, a few other people were waiting to talk with me. Without being asked, Keyur and Madison stepped in and started answering their questions about Assisted Living Locators.

I was honestly moved. It's one thing to share your own business. It's another to trust someone enough to speak on their behalf.

Keyur and Madison, thank you. You represent what I love most about this work: people who are here to genuinely help families, not just themselves. I'd gladly do the same for you anytime.

Good partners don't just refer. They show up.

It was incredibly special to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s today in South OC. The entire Committee and volunteers did an amazing job putting it all together.

I was so honored to have so many friends join me on my Team and raise funds for such a great cause. Together we raised over $4034, blowing out our goal of $3000! Thank you to everyone who participated and donated!

(Not everyone on the Team made this photo op, but they are still loved and valued!!)

Looking forward to hearing about all the research that will happen over the next year. Our Team is ready to go again in 2027!!

Yesterday I had the privilege of hosting a Senior Care Sales Workshop at The Seville in San Clemente, and I'm still thinking about it this morning.

Sarah Barker joined us to speak to a room of about 20 home care, hospice and senior living professionals. I always walk away from time with her having learned something, and yesterday was no exception.

Here's what struck me most, though. Most of the people in that room would technically call each other competitors. But there wasn't a hint of that in the atmosphere. Just humility, and a room full of people who genuinely wanted to get better at their jobs so they could serve their clients well.

I love being around people like that. Passionate, compassionate people who show up for seniors and their families because it matters to them.

Thank you, Sarah, for giving us your time and your heart yesterday. And thank you to everyone who showed up ready to learn.

The mini therapy horses are back!

We had a great time with the therapy horses from Heart and Hooves Therapy today, visiting the residents of The Orchards Health Center.

These horses bring so much joy to everyone that they saw, from the residents to the nurses to the staff - everyone that got to spend time with Frodo and Arrow absolutely fell in love!

I love my job, but days like today, I REALLY love my job!
