🚨 The Counseling Compact has officially gone live in Georgia, marking another significant milestone in expanding access to mental health care! Georgia is the fifth state to grant privileges, joining Arizona, Minnesota, Ohio and Louisiana.

Across the country, 33 additional states and the District of Columbia are actively completing the steps needed to begin issuing and receiving privileges under the Counseling Compact.

While SRIs and SSRIs are commonly prescribed for the treatment of BFRBs, there is insufficient evidence to support any single medication or class of medications as an effective treatment for BFRBs. However, medication management to treat co-occuring conditions may help reduce the frequency and severity of BFRB symptoms.
