• Adult Service Usage: Only about 39.4% of Black and Hispanic adults, and 25.4% of Asian adults, receive mental health services compared to white populations.

• Adolescent Risks: Social determinants of health (SDOH)—such as discrimination and poverty—disproportionately affect the mental well-being of racial and minority adolescents.

• Intersectionality: Individuals who identify as being two or more races report the highest rates of any mental illness within the past year.
