The meltdown never really starts with the cup, the sock, or the word "no." Those are just the last straw. 💚

When a nervous system runs out of room to adapt, big emotions take over, and it isn't a choice. It's an overloaded system.

Some kids just don't have an off switch.

They climb before they think. They crash into everything. They're the fastest kid at recess and the hardest kid to get into bed. And by 9pm, you are completely wiped out.

You are not failing. You're parenting a nervous system with the gas pedal jammed on and the brake pedal offline.

In this video, Dr. Michelle Green breaks down:
🧠 Why constant motion isn't the same thing as coordination
🌪 How the Perfect Storm of early stressors sets this pattern up
⚡ Why medication can quiet the engine without restoring the foundation
Sometimes our kids just get stuck in stress mode. And when we ease that tension and support the nervous system, things start to shift.
