Please join us in congratulating Shali Fork on earning her Master of Science in Counseling and officially becoming a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in Louisiana!

While many of you have already had the opportunity to know and work with Shali, we're excited to officially welcome her into her new role as a counselor with Worth Counseling Group. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and look forward to watching the positive impact she will continue to make in the lives of those she serves.

I’ve been seeing the term slowmaxxing lately, and honestly, I think a lot of us need it.

We’re so used to optimizing everything that we’ve forgotten how to just be in our lives.

Slowmaxxing isn’t about being lazy. It’s about creating moments where your nervous system isn’t being rushed, pushed, or asked to perform.

It’s drinking your coffee before it gets cold.

It’s sitting outside without reaching for your phone.

It’s taking a walk because it feels good—not because you’re trying to burn calories or close a fitness ring.

A lot of high-functioning women are great at getting things done. The harder skill is remembering that not every moment has to be productive to be valuable.
