Summit is currently accepting limited inquiries for our ๐„๐ฑ๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐…๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  & ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ˆ๐ง๐๐ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ. โœจ

These adolescent-focused ABA services are designed for learners ages 12โ€“18 whose primary needs include executive functioning, complex social skills, independence, and/or pre-vocational readiness.

Current immediate availability is intended for learners with minimal disruptive behavior whose needs do not primarily involve intensive behavior reduction. Caregiver collaboration is required to support practice and generalization of skills across home, school, and community settings.

Families seeking early intervention or intensive behavior support are also welcome to contact Summit to join our waiting list and receive support connecting with other providers.

As you navigate the early mornings, new expectations, and all the unknowns that come with back-to-school season, remember to give yourself grace. You are your childโ€™s biggest supporter, and your encouragement, patience, and care make a meaningful difference in their growth each day.

A few gentle ways to ease into the new routine:
๐ŸŽ’ Set out clothes, backpacks, or lunches the night before when possible.
๐Ÿ•’ Build in a little extra time for mornings, especially during the first few weeks.
๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Take a few quiet breaths or a brief moment for yourself so you can start the day feeling more regulated.

A big thank you to the Lafayette Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance for joining us for Community Helpers Week earlier this summer!

Our clients had an exciting opportunity to meet firefighters and an EMT, explore a fire truck and ambulance, and practice important safety skills. Experiences like these can help children feel more familiar and comfortable with emergency responders and vehicles should they ever encounter them in the community.

It was also wonderful to see our clients sharing the experience, practicing waiting and taking turns, and engaging with their peers throughout the events. We are grateful for these local heroes making this meaningful learning opportunity possible! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš‘
