🍔🥤 The Vincent Independent Living Social Life: Come hungry. Leave happy. Repeat. 😂

One week we’re taking over a table at Rachel's Cafe, and the next we’re back home for Root B**r Floats, Ruffles & Reminiscing. Apparently, we take our eating and our social calendar pretty seriously around here. 🥤🍨🥔

Cold floats, salty chips, plenty of “you remember when…” stories, a little carrying on (ok… a lot 🤷‍♀️), and more than a few people who clearly understood the assignment. 😂👏

The official theme may have been Root B**r Floats, Ruffles & Reminiscing, but the unofficial theme?

Eat well. Laugh loudly. Enjoy your people. ❤️

And judging by these pictures… we’ve got that part figured out. 😎

We are so excited to welcome these two former healthcare heroes to Independent Living at The Vincent! 🩺👏 After spending so many years caring for others, it is officially their turn to enjoy more fun, more freedom, and a community ready to welcome them with open arms! 💃🕺🥂

Pete and Sandra are already bringing plenty of laughs, great stories, wonderful energy, and some really good books with them! 📚🤩 We have a feeling life at The Vincent just got a little more lively, and our bookshelves may be getting an upgrade too! 😄🎊💙

Last week our residents in Memory Care got to soak up the vibes of Hawaii without ever having to leave the building. Or having to pay for an expensive plane ticket LOL. They enjoyed things like a special Hawaiian spread created by our chefs, tropical sorbet, and an Aloha Lemonade Tasting sponsored by Lori from A Place At Home. I wonder which destination is next?

Good thing our friends at Right at Home beat them to it every month! 🙌💙

Our monthly Blood Pressure Clinic has become a resident favorite, giving everyone the opportunity to stop in for a complimentary blood pressure check, ask questions, and leave with a handy tracker to record their readings over time. 📖📈❤️

We’re incredibly grateful for community partners like Right at Home who generously share their time, expertise, and compassion with our residents month after month. 🤝💙 It’s partnerships like these that help make healthy living a little easier… and community living even sweeter. 🏡✨

Last week at The Vincent Senior Living, our calendars and conversations were full! 💙

We stayed cool during Summer Sips & Stories, where Uncle Love had everyone belly laughing between refreshing drinks. 🍋😂 We raised a glass at Happy Hour with great friends and even better conversation. 🥂 We even took a stroll down memory lane, where everything from a 1941 report card to a treasured communion dress proved that every keepsake has a story worth sharing. ❤️📖

Around here, active living isn’t about filling the calendar. It’s about filling each day with laughter, friendships, new experiences, and moments worth remembering. ✨
