Please join Senior Helpers in celebrating my mom, Susan, as she begins her retirement after more than 25 years in the home care profession.

Throughout her career, Susan has built countless relationships throughout Acadiana based on trust, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping seniors and their families. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have worked alongside her and to see firsthand the impact she has made on so many people. Her relationships and the connections she has built are a true reflection of the legacy she leaves behind.

As Susan begins this next (and I’m sure very busy!) chapter, I’ll be stepping into my new role as Community Liaison with Senior Helpers and taking over responsibility for her community partner accounts. I’ll also be your primary contact for our community partnerships moving forward.

Many of you already know me from my years of working alongside Susan, attending networking events, participating in outreach, and building relationships with the people and organizations we serve. I’m excited to continue those relationships and carry forward the strong foundation she has built.

In my new role, I’ll continue connecting with our community partners, providing education about Senior Helpers and our services, and helping connect you with the appropriate team members for referrals and care coordination. My years of experience with Senior Helpers and familiarity with our community partners will help make this transition as seamless as possible.
