Foods to avoid after wisdom tooth removal:

Some foods can interfere with the wisdom tooth healing period or even lead to complications. A few examples of foods you should avoid for at least the first 5 – 7 days after surgery include:

Crunchy or hard foods (such as chips, popcorn, nuts, and crackers)
Spicy or acidic foods
Sticky or chewy foods (such as gum or caramel)
Hot foods and beverages
Carbonated drinks
Alcohol and caffeine
