Macon Community Hospital was proud to participate in Pink Out at Westmoreland High School during tonight’s football game! 🏈💗

Ashley Herald with our Therapy Services Department joined us for this special community event. We always enjoy getting out into the community, connecting with others, and supporting events that bring awareness to important causes.

Macon Community Hospital’s Benita Hudson, Director of Therapy Services, participated in the LBJ&C Head Start Open House in Red Boiling Springs on Thursday, October 15.
Benita had the opportunity to connect with parents, answer questions, and share valuable information about the services and resources available through Macon Community Hospital.

Today we had the pleasure of hosting our Retired Teachers Luncheon at C3, filled with good food, fellowship and great health education!
Dr. Lee, Cardiologist, and Tisha Turner, Cardiology Director, shared valuable information about heart health. Michaela Pedigo, RDN, provided helpful nutrition education, and Scott Tongate, CEO, shared exciting updates about the growth and future of Macon Community Hospital.
We are grateful for these wonderful educators who have given so much to our community. Thank you for spending the afternoon with us! 💙

🌾 Macon Community Hospital Celebrates Macon County Farm Day! 🐄🍎
Macon Community Hospital was excited to participate in Macon County Farm Day today, Thursday, October 15! Our team enjoyed spending time with local 4th grade students while teaching them about the importance of handwashing and how clean hands help prevent the spread of germs. 🧼👐
We also talked about healthy eating and the many nutritious foods that come from our farms, including fruits, vegetables, dairy products, eggs, and meats. 🌽🥕🥛🥚
A special thank you to Michaela, Emma, and Stacey for representing Macon Community Hospital and helping make learning about health, hygiene, and agriculture fun for our young students!

Macon Community Hospital employees had a great time participating in Career Day at Macon County High School with all the high school students in the county and talking with students about the many career opportunities available in healthcare!
