Today feels a little less sparkly. 💔✨

Dolly Parton gave the world a lifetime of music, laughter, kindness, and joy. Her songs became the soundtrack to so many lives, including those of generations of residents throughout The Waters.

We’ve sung along to her music, danced to her songs, dressed up in her honor, shared stories about her, and made more than a few wonderful memories along the way.

Today, as we look back on one of those fun-filled Dolly days at The Waters, these photos feel just a little more special. 🤍

Dolly, thank you for the music. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the generosity, the rhinestones, the big hair, the bigger heart, and all the joy you shared with the world.

Today we say goodbye, but we also celebrate one incredible life and a legacy that will live on for generations.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🦋✨

Mariela is one of our incredible CNAs who consistently goes above and beyond for our residents. Her compassion, patience, and dependability shine through in the care she provides each day, and she is someone our residents, families, and team members know they can count on.

And Mariela has something else very exciting on the way—she’ll soon be welcoming a little one of her own! 💕 Even as she prepares for this special new chapter, she continues to show up for our residents with the same dedication and caring heart that make her such an important part of our team.

This week our friends from Seniors Helping Seniors stopped by for a good old-fashioned game of golf with our residents! There were plenty of swings, smiles, and a little competitive spirit to go around. 💚

We always enjoy welcoming friends from our community and spending an afternoon together — thanks for teeing up such a fun day with us! ⛳

Nothing brings people together quite like great food and even better company! ❤️🍔

Our recent Family BBQ at The Waters of LaGrange was filled with laughter, delicious food fresh off the grill, and meaningful moments shared between residents, their children, grandchildren, and friends. These gatherings are a wonderful reminder that some of life’s sweetest memories are made around the table with the people we love.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this special day such a success. We loved celebrating with you all! 💙

This month we’re proud to recognize Heather Moore, our amazing Dietary Assistant Manager and Cook as our !

Heather is an incredible cook who always prepares delicious meals with love. She leads by example, is always willing to share her knowledge and advice with her team, and she truly knows our residents; their preferences, their personalities and what makes them smile. Her creativity, confidence, and great sense of humor make every day brighter.

As a true Libra, she brings balance, teamwork, and a positive attitude wherever she goes. We are so grateful for her dedication, leadership, and the genuine care she shows to our residents and coworkers every single day. Thank you for everything you do! We appreciate you and are lucky to have you on our team. 🫶
