Today feels a little less sparkly. 💔✨

Dolly Parton gave the world a lifetime of music, laughter, kindness, and joy. Her songs became the soundtrack to so many lives, including those of generations of residents throughout The Waters.

We’ve sung along to her music, danced to her songs, dressed up in her honor, shared stories about her, and made more than a few wonderful memories along the way.

Today, as we look back on one of those fun-filled Dolly days at The Waters, these photos feel just a little more special. 🤍

Dolly, thank you for the music. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the generosity, the rhinestones, the big hair, the bigger heart, and all the joy you shared with the world.

Today we say goodbye, but we also celebrate one incredible life and a legacy that will live on for generations.

Our friends from Seniors Helping Seniors stopped by for a good old-fashioned game of golf with our residents! There were plenty of swings, smiles, and a little competitive spirit to go around. 💚

We always enjoy welcoming friends from our community and spending an afternoon together — thanks for teeing up such a fun day with us! ⛳

Joyce is the definition of grace, strength, and joy. At 101 years young, she continues to amaze us every single day with her vibrant spirit, incredible independence, and love for life. Whether she’s getting around with ease, sharing her warm smile, or enjoying a good book, Joyce inspires everyone around her with her positivity and determination.

Her kindness, wisdom, and cheerful personality make her such a special part of our family here at The Waters of LaGrange. She brings light into every room she enters, and spending time with her is truly a gift.
