It seems like the more “candid” the cooler these days when it comes to pics and thank god cause have you ever tried to capture a cute pic of a 2.5 year old boy? Fall break highlights. Not pictured, the road-trip from hell on the way out where not one of us *didnt* shed some tears, the endless snacks and a 4 year old who is up more at night than our newborn 👍

Lots of full circle moments this weekend. Back to our old stomping grounds, we somehow have 3 kids, but I also still feel 21 in many ways (minus the hangovers and I’ve swapped the 2 am jimmy John’s sandwich for a pump session 😂).

The last baby just hits different. Ever been so damn tired and happy and and overwhelmed and blessed and stressed and thankful and grateful at the same time? Crying but smiling, tired by wired, super woman but also feel like you might be drowning? Postpartum is no freakin joke.

There is a point in labor that is the most raw you will ever be, requiring you to go dig deeper than you ever knew possible. Its like for a moment you leave yourself behind and go out to the universe to get your baby and together you two come back. Once you see that depth of yourself, the truest range of your strength is revealed and you will never be the same. [birth story in comments]

Olson Strand 💙 Our sweet boy is here and our family is complete. Born on his due date and on the night of the biggest rain storm of the year, you’ve already shown me new depths of myself and layers of strength only you could uncover.

A big shoutout to Kelly of and Ellie my midwife from who are literal angels on Earth. And to , my eyes were closed the whole time and I was in another world, but you stayed calm and present and believed in me. We did it again babe!

The final countdown of our foursome. Weird to know tour world, your life is about to never be the same. It’s about to change for the better, hearts and hands will be fuller, I know that, but feeling reallly attached to the way things are right now, in this moment. Why do these feelings always creep in at night?

37 weeks with this little blessing. Never been more ready to get a baby out, but also having the anxiety about another change in our family dynamic. The end is such a mind f*ck.
