If you’re always waiting for the “right time” to do something because you’re worried about how it will affect your weight, I’d like for you to pause and read 👇🏼
The scale fluctuates not only daily but throughout the day. Calories in, energy expenditure, calories in, bathroom break, walk a loop in your neighborhood, have a snack, etc.
The cycle is consistently moving. And while you may see some fluctuations happen while on vacation, or at a wedding over the weekend, you’ll often find that within a few days of normal, your body is right back where it was.
Vacation doesn’t have to “ruin” your progress—even if you have more dessert, alcohol, etc than normal.
You can—enjoy vacation and simultaneously eat things that make you feel good.
You can—have an extra glass of wine at dinner but also take a walk after dinner.
You can—sit on your butt at the beach all day and then wander through downtown at night.
It isn’t a black and white narrative that vacation is bad for your health and routine is always better. We all need a lil vacay, and your body, your weight, will be just fine when you come home 💕🤙🏼
