🎉 My first blog is officially live!
This one is deeply personal.
Every summer, parents everywhere start posting camp drop-offs, pool days, vacations, and carefree afternoons. But for many parents raising children with special needs or medical complexity, summer feels very different.
It’s the loss of routines, therapies, school supports, and childcare. It’s the camps that say they’re inclusive—until they’re not. It’s trying to piece together care while carrying even more responsibility than during the school year.
As both a therapist and a special needs mom, I wrote this because I know so many families are living this reality quietly.
