🚨IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR HEALTHY BLUE PATIENTS🚨
TODAY (September 1, 2026), Healthy Blue has announced that it will discontinue health plan operations in Louisiana effective December 31, 2026. Member coverage through Healthy Blue is expected to end on that date.
SWLA Center for Health Services will continue accepting Healthy Blue and providing covered, medically necessary services through December 31, 2026. All current referral and prior-authorization requirements will remain in effect during this time.
Healthy Blue members should:
• Watch for communications from Healthy Blue and Louisiana Medicaid.
• Carefully review all enrollment and coverage-transition information.
• Contact Healthy Blue Member Services for help regarding future coverage options.
• Speak with their healthcare provider about ongoing treatment needs.
Please do not disregard any notices you receive from Louisiana Medicaid. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.
