All laboratory locations will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, as we join in celebrating America’s 250th Birthday and Independence Day.

Job Listing: Laboratory Accessioning Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and efficient individual to join our team as a Laboratory Accessioning Team Member.
Location: 830 W. Bayou Pines-Lake Charles, La. 70601
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and accession laboratory specimens for testing
• Enter patient data into the laboratory information system accurately and efficiently
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with lab protocols
• Communicate with laboratory staff and clients to resolve discrepancies or issues
• Handle patient information with confidentiality and care
• Ensure that all specimens are processed in a timely manner

Requirements:
• Must be able to type at least 30 words per minute
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting is a plus, but not required

All locations of the lab will be closed on Saturday, May 23rd and Monday, May 25th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. We will re-open on Tuesday, May 26th.
