Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative today! We teamed up with our friend Katelyn Ihli from Home Instead for a special crafting session making beautiful, handmade yarn crosses.There is nothing quite like the joy of working with your hands, sharing stories, and creating something meaningful together. 🎨 Craft Day & Beautiful Connections! 🎨

Our residents had a wonderful morning flexing their creativity! We teamed up with our friend Christi Miller Reeves from Brighton Bridge Hospice for a special craft day, and the results are absolutely beautiful.

Together, everyone created these gorgeous, personalized cross wreaths to decorate their doors and rooms. There is nothing better than good conversation, teamwork, and a little glitter to brighten up the week.

🎉 The Bidding is On! Introducing Our First-Ever White Bean Battle! 🎉

Things are getting competitive here at Villa Maria! Today, we kicked off a brand-new tradition: our very first White Bean Battle Auction! Instead of bidding with real cash, our residents are using a special currency today—white beans! Everyone started the auction with their own personal stash of beans, ready to outbid their neighbors. The bidding wars got intense as residents competed for incredible prizes, including:

Snacks and drinks
Hygiene products
Household essentials

A huge thank you to Shatania Cornez with All Saints Hospice for sponsoring this event and providing these fantastic goodies for our residents! The room was filled with laughter, strategy, and plenty of friendly rivalry. Who knew a handful of beans could cause so much excitement?
