Michele Ruiz Gutierrez Geisenburg, age 30, of Lake City, Florida, passed away suddenly on August 12, 2026, in Largo, Florida. She was born on November 28, 1995, in Staten Island, New York, to Jaime Gutierrez Chavez and Asuncion Irma Ruiz. In 2025, Michele moved from Staten Island, New York, to Lake City, Florida, where she began a new chapter of her life. Michele had a zest for life and loved to have fun. She knew how to enjoy the simple moments, whether spending time with those she loved or taking time for herself by coloring, making crafts, relaxing, or watching a good movie. She had a kind and gentle heart and a great love for her family and friends. Michele was also an AMAZING cook and found joy in sharing her cooking with the people around her. Michele's love for her family and friends was evident in the way she cared for those around her. She brought warmth, laughter, and love into the lives of the people who knew her. Though her life was far too short, the beautiful memories she created and the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Michele is survived by her parents, Jaime Gutierrez Chavez and Asuncion Irma Ruiz, of Staten Island, New York; her loving husband, Morgan Geisenburg of Lake City, Florida; her brothers, Jose Israel Evangelista and Julio Antonio Ruiz, both of Staten Island, New York; along with extended family members and dear friends.

Michele was a young and beautiful soul whose life touched so many people. She will be deeply missed, but the love she shared, the memories she created, and the kindness she showed to others will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Michele’s Life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Ferreira Funeral Services Chapel, Lake City, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Falling Creek Church Cemetery, 1290 NW Falling Creek Road, Lake City, Florida 32055.
