Residents and staff gathered in the main dining room to celebrate Abby as she begins a new chapter in her career. After 19 years of dedicated service, Abby is resigning from her position to pursue a new path in nursing.

Residents had a blast trying a new game today called High Strikers! ๐ŸŽ‰ This popular social media-inspired game challenged players to kick a ball between pool noodles and land it on numbered paper plates worth 10 to 100 points. The friendly competition brought lots of laughter, cheering, and teamwork!

To make the game even more fun, our teams were given creative names by our wonderful helper, Edith: Penelope Pig and Santa Claus. ๐ŸŽˆ Thank you, Edith, for adding an extra touch of fun to a fantastic morning!

Kay brings more than 25 years of experience in long-term care and rehabilitation, along with an extensive background as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and Director of Rehabilitation. She recently earned her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, further strengthening her passion for servant leadership and exceptional resident care.

What drew Kay to Accura? A shared commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care while building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.

When she's not at work, you'll likely find Kay cheering on her children at their activities or planning her next travel adventure.
