When you catch a glimpse of a bonafide miracle… twice over, no less… you won’t soon forget it.
We prepare, and prepare our families for complications, while fully expecting the very best. And, honestly, we very rarely have to get anywhere near “go mode.” However, once in an obscure blue moon, these little babies can give us a run for our “higher” skills. This little honey gave us a start… but right when we were set to run, she pulled off a big ol’ “JK, guys… I’m totally good!” Haha!
Thank you, Lord. 🙏
After mom and baby were all tucked up, we got one look at her placenta and we were instantly covered all over again, realizing she had some unprotected vessels in her membranes that could have been a whole other problem… but weren’t.
God sure has had his hand on this little daffodil — and a mighty purpose is no doubt in store for her! (Daddy told me, later, that he had been fasting and praying since labor started earlier that day. Thank you, Lord!)
After all was said and done, more than anything, it just served as a good reminder how real and present the truth that “our times really are in his hands” is… whether we see or recognize it (or not) in the births that don’t involve such an obvious example. He is there and IN IT ALL — every single time.
