Actually…

Make sure you strengthen your core first and then strengthen at these spots!

✨ But before we continue, make sure to SAVE THIS for later to refer back to/FOLLOW us for more tips and decreasing your pain/SHARE with another!✨

it’s important to strengthen these larger muscles using this type of strengthening exercises before starting any strengthening at the hand, wrist and forearm.

Because these spots are where the hand wrist and forearm draw strength from!

Strengthening here first, therefore, helps to protect the hand, wrist and forearm from injury!

And starting isometrically is a much gentler first step.

Are you doing them?

By the way, when you strengthen these areas, make sure to not stress the injured body parts by holding weights in your hand.

So how do you strengthen them?!

So how did it go? Do you think you might have lateral epicondylitis?

✨ But before we continue, make sure to SAVE THIS for later to refer back to/FOLLOW us for more tips and decreasing your pain/SHARE with another!✨

What is lateral epicondylitis?!

Lateral epicondylitis is another tendon injury again due to poor use of the hand, wrist and forearm.

Typically, it is a condition that builds up overtime and then eventually, *bam*, your arm, and elbow are yelling at you!

The pain is felt usually around the elbow and with activities where you have to grip repeatedly or with exertion.

So do you have it? Let me know!

By the way, do you want to know what you should be doing about the pain?

Then grab my guide for decreasing lateral epicondylitis pain!

It tells you exactly what exercises, equipment, and modifications to your day that you need to do to decrease your pain now, and to prevent flare ups in the future.

It’s more than just a massage!

But before we continue, don’t forget to SAVE this for later/SHARE with another/FOLLOW us to learn more about your DeQuervain’s!

Even though soft tissue work feels great (and sometimes it does not!), it is beneficial in many more ways!

Soft tissue work:

Helps decrease tightness in muscles.
Helps decrease tightness in the fascia.
Helps improve circulation.
Helps decrease swelling.
Helps break down scar tissue/adhesions.

All of this helps to DECREASE PAIN AND HELP THE HAND/THUMB/WRIST TO HEAL!

So make sure you are incorporating it into your management program!

By the way, soft tissue work (or massage) is just one part of a therapeutic management program.

It’s important to add these exercises because our shoulders are tied to these parts of our body!

In fact, when these areas are unbalanced, then it significantly impacts the shoulder!

So make sure to add these.

By the way, these exercises are just the starting point. If you would like to learn my entire therapeutic home program for shoulder pain than comment “ shoulder” below.

All I can say is…

whether or not you decide on surgery, it is important to do therapy first!

Because if you do decide on the surgery then therapy before and after will help you get the best results!

And if you don’t decide on surgery, then therapy will help you get the best results without invasive surgery.

Do you have any more questions about surgery?

Make sure to reach out!
