If you or someone you know was there on Monday, or even if you are feeling the impact of witnessing from afar yet another senseless tragedy, trauma treatment may be needed. Please consider this resource. The Greater Chicago Trauma Recovery Network has a network of trained trauma and EMDR therapists offering 5 free sessions. Their website is www.GreaterChicagotrn.org.

Many police and fire departments are arranging EAP services for their members. Your place of employment many offer such services too. The way we do this is going into the silence, and offering ourselves comfort and love and support for having these difficult feelings. Valid, support, and love yourself through the experience of anger.

Anger can be a perfectly healthy emotional response, but our relationship to it is often unhealthy.
