Air Quality Alert:
The air quality today is particularly poor. A normal Air Quality Index is 0-50. Today it is around 200 which is very unlealthy. The unhealthy air is being caused by wild fire smoke blowing into our area from fires in Canada. The air seems foggy with an obvious smell of fire. Today is a day to stay inside with your windows closed and air-conditioning on. People with chronic lung and heart problems as well as diabetes may be at most risk. Each lantern raised honors resilience, remembers loved ones lost, and fuels progress toward better treatments and cures.
