📺 A few more fun pictures from our National I Love Lucy Day celebration at Gems Assisted Living!
Our residents had such a great time watching back-to-back episodes of I Love Lucy, sharing lots of laughs and enjoying one of television's greatest classics!
And of course, our very own Chocolate Factory Challenge was a hit! 🍫🍬 Such a fun day filled with laughter, sweet memories, and a little Lucy magic!

🍰🍩🍪 Happy National Dessert Day from Gems Assisted Living! 🥧🍂🍁

Did you know that October 14th is National Dessert Day? A day dedicated to celebrating all things sweet! Here's a fun little fact: The word dessert comes from the French word desservir, meaning "to clear the table," because desserts were traditionally served after a meal!
And boy, did we celebrate at Gems today! 😋
We transformed our dining table into a beautiful fall-inspired dessert wonderland, filled with gorgeous autumn colors and SWEET treats everywhere! From chocolate cake, donuts, cookies, pies, and cheesecake to so many other delicious goodies, we had it ALL!
Our residents were in dessert heaven, enjoying every delicious bite! Let's just say there were plenty of happy faces, satisfied sweet tooths, and maybe a little sugar

🎃👻 GEMS' 13TH ANNUAL HAUNTED HOUSE! 👻
It's that SPOOKTACULAR time of year again! 🧙‍♀️

Gems Assisted Living is excited to invite our community to our 13th Annual Haunted House! We've been bringing spooky fun to Lake Havasu for 13 years, and this year we're haunting for a great cause! 🧡

🏚️ Location: Gems Assisted Living
📍 2136 Senita Dr., Lake Havasu City
🎃 October 29th–31st
Thursday: 4 PM–8 PM
Friday: 6 PM–10 PM
Saturday: 8 PM–10 PM

🍬 ADMISSION IS FREE with a donation of a non-perishable food item or a small monetary contribution!
❤️ All donations will benefit The Clothes Closet, helping give back to those in need right here in our community!
Bring your family, friends, and little ghosts and goblins for some Halloween fun while supporting a wonderful cause!
👻 Come for the scares, stay for the fun, and help us give back!

🎃👻 More Halloween fun at Gems Assisted Living!
A little late posting, but we've been making fun and spooky Halloween treats with our residents daily to get into the Halloween spirit! 🧡
Last week, we celebrated National Chocolate Covered Pretzel Day by making our own chocolate-covered pretzels! 🍫🥨 We also made spooky graveyard dirt cups with gummy worms! 🪱
Our residents have been having a blast making different treats every day! Just another way we're keeping things fun and festive here at Gems! 🎃🧡

A big thank you to Aunt Jinny for coming over this weekend and making ghost mini hot dogs and pretzel cheese witch brooms with our residents! 🧙‍♀️🧹 Everyone had such a good time!
We've been having daily spooky food fun here at Gems, and our residents are having a blast!

Range of motion is very important to us at Gems. It helps keep joints flexible, muscles strong, and our residents moving and as independent as possible. Every little movement counts! 🙌
