This is important so we will share it again, even with the cooler morning thanks to the rain:

☀️ HEAT EXHAUSTION vs. HEAT STROKE

They’re not the same thing, and knowing the difference matters.

Heat exhaustion can look like:
💧 Heavy sweating
😵 Dizziness or headache
🤢 Nausea
🥵 Weakness or fatigue
💦 Excessive thirst

Get out of the heat, cool down, rest and hydrate.

Heat stroke is an EMERGENCY. 🚨

Watch for:
⚠️ Confusion or altered behavior
⚠️ Very high body temperature
⚠️ Hot skin, with or without sweating
⚠️ Seizures
⚠️ Loss of consciousness

If heat stroke is suspected, call 911 and begin cooling the person while waiting for help.

And remember, you don't have to wait until you're thirsty to drink water. If you're spending the day outside, plan ahead, take breaks and pay attention to what your body is telling you.

🏍️☀️ BIKE WEEK + A HEAT ADVISORY = PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF OUT THERE. 💧

We know nobody came to Bike Week to sit inside all day. 😂 But with heat index values potentially reaching 105°, this is one week to be a little more intentional about staying cool and hydrated.

A few friendly reminders from your Revival nurses:

💧 Start hydrating BEFORE you feel thirsty. Keep fluids with you and drink regularly throughout the day.

☀️ Take breaks from the heat. Find some shade or A/C periodically, especially if you’ve been riding or outside for hours.

👕 Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing when you can.

⏰ Limit strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day and save it for earlier or later when possible.

🍻 Don't let alcohol be your hydration plan. If you're drinking, work some water into the rotation too.

👀 Watch out for each other. Headache, dizziness, nausea, weakness, heavy sweating or feeling unusually unwell can be signs that someone is getting too hot.

🚨 Heat stroke is an emergency. Confusion, loss of consciousness, seizures or a very high body temperature are reasons to call 911 immediately and begin cooling the person while help is on the way.

Most importantly: don't wait until you feel terrible to start taking care of yourself.

Have fun. Ride safe. Hydrate. And keep an eye on your people. 🏍️💧

Both our Drip Lounge and mobile services are by appointment, but don’t let that stop you from reaching out the same day! We always do our best to accommodate same-day requests whenever our schedule allows. 💕

As our mobile service area continues to grow, we’re also making a small change: appointments outside of our regular service area will now have a mobile travel fee based on distance. We still want to come to you, we just have to account for those longer trips! 🚙💧

After a long week of taking care of everyone else and their hydration, Kelli clocked out and played tourist on the Strip for the evening! 💧➡️🎟️

🍦 Ice cream at Grandpa’s
🎟️ Arcade games at Dogpatch
🏆 An absolutely unnecessary number of tickets
🍺 And the discovery that apparently years of b**r pong experience translate VERY well to arcade games 😂

Sometimes you have to get out and enjoy the place you’re lucky enough to call home.

💕 The Lake is pretty great from the other side of the IV bag, too!

Turns out Kelli is just as good at sinking cups as she is starting IVs. 😂🎯💧
