Let’s be completely honest for a second. The traditional healthcare system doesn’t always put the person first. When a practice operates solely on insurance rules, the person who suffers most is often the patient sitting on the table or across the room.
Looking back at our time as insurance-based clinicians, there are a few things our team is incredibly grateful to leave behind for the sake of our patients:
1. Letting a Corporate Checklist Dictate Your Progress
Nothing felt worse than knowing a patient needed more care, only to have a third-party company cap their sessions based on a generic spreadsheet. Your body and your recovery do not follow a corporate timeline.
2. Rushed Sessions and Split Attention
Under the old model, the paperwork load meant spending hours fighting with computers just to justify a patient’s basic right to care. We believe our eyes and energy belong on you during your session, not on a compliance screen.
3. One-Size-Fits-All Care Plans
Insurance models love standardized formulas. But treating patients effectively means recognizing that everyone recovers differently. Stripping away those limitations allows us to build customized plans that actually make sense for your unique journey.
When we stepped outside of that system, everything changed. Now, we get to focus entirely on providing care rooted in deep, uncompromised attention. We work for you, not the insurance company.
If you are tired of feeling like a number in a broken system and want to experience what truly individualized healthcare feels like, we would love to connect.
