Your body is trying to heal. It just needs better tools than time and ice packs.

Take a shoulder injury like this one. Rest helps a little. Ice brings down some swelling. But for a lot of injuries, that’s where the healing plateaus. Your body starts the repair process on its own, then kind of stalls out before the job is finished.

That’s where laser therapy comes in. It uses light to reach deep into the tissue and boost blood flow, calm inflammation, and speed up how fast your cells repair themselves. It doesn’t replace what your body is already doing. It just helps it finish the job faster.

No needles, no downtime, just extra support while you heal.

If you’ve got an injury that’s been stuck at “mostly better” for way too long, give us a call at (636) 265-2822 and let’s talk about getting it the rest of the way there.

Most people think hormone changes start in their late 40s or 50s, right around menopause. The truth is, they usually start much earlier than that. Some women notice changes in their late 20s or early 30s and have no idea that’s what is happening.

Here’s what it can actually look like:

😴Feeling tired even after a full night of sleep
😱Mood swings that feel bigger than the situation calls for
📈Weight that creeps up even though nothing else changed
🗓️Periods that get harder to predict
☁️Brain fog that makes you forget why you walked into a room

Most providers do not bring this up until something feels really wrong. By then, you have usually been dealing with it for years and just called it stress, or being busy, or getting older.

Here is what we wish every 32 year old knew. Your hormones do not wait for a certain birthday to start shifting. And you do not have to wait until it gets bad to ask questions about it.

If any of this sounds familiar, we would love to talk with you, no matter what age you are. What do you wish someone had told you sooner? Tell us below.

PRP sounds a lot scarier than it actually is. So here’s the real walkthrough, no mystery, no drama.

PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. Basically, we take a small amount of your own blood, spin it down to pull out the platelets (the healing part), and inject that back into the area that’s hurting. Your body already knows how to heal. This just gives it extra tools to do the job faster.

No downtime. No surgery. Just your own body doing what it does best, with a little help.

If you’ve been curious about PRP but weren’t sure what it actually involved, now you know.

Were you told surgery was pretty much your only real option?

A lot of people believe joint and tendon pain only has two choices. Push through it, or get surgery. That leaves out a whole middle ground most people never hear about.

Tendons and joints do not heal like a cut on your skin. They need the right kind of movement, load, and time to actually get stronger, not just rest. That is where chiropractic care and rehab come in. Done right, they help your body rebuild the way it is supposed to.

For some patients, regenerative treatments like PRP are also worth considering. These use your body’s own healing response to target the damage, not just cover up the pain.

None of this means surgery is wrong. Some injuries truly need it, and it can be life changing when it is the right call. The point is not to avoid surgery no matter what. The point is knowing your full range of options before you land on one.

Day 1: tweaked it during a workout. No big deal.
Day 12: still a little sore, probably nothing.
Day 25: okay it’s been a few weeks. Still telling yourself it’ll pass.
Day 40: you started to walk differently without even noticing.
Day 47: you finally admit this isn’t going away on its own and call DB2.

Sound familiar? Pain that sticks around for weeks isn’t your body being dramatic. It’s your body asking for help the only way it knows how.

Waiting it out usually means the damage keeps building while you just get used to it. We can help get you back to normal and heal what’s actually causing the pain.

What day are you on??

When insurance companies dictate appointment lengths, care turns into an assembly line.

Keeping patient volume low means we give every person the time, attention, and thorough evaluation they actually deserve.

When a doctor or specialist operates in the standard insurance model, they are forced to run through 18 to 25 patients before late afternoon just to cover overhead. That means 10 to 15 minutes per person, rushed conversations, and a constant eye on the clock.

By opting out of insurance, the entire framework changes.
Instead of cramming 4 to 6 people into an hour, appointments are set for 30 to 60 minutes.
That means:
👂Time to listen to the whole story, not just the primary symptom.
💛Space to dig into root causes, review labs in detail, and build a tailored plan.
🏃‍♀️Zero feeling of being rushed out the door so the next file can be grabbed.

Quality care takes time, depth, and genuine connection. Removing the middleman makes it possible to put the focus back where it belongs: entirely on the person sitting in front of you.

Be honest, does your knee sound like a bowl of cereal every time you stand up? 🥣

That crackling or popping sound has a name: crepitus. It’s pretty common, but common doesn’t always mean it’s fine. Here’s what can cause it:

Cartilage that’s worn down
An old injury that never fully healed
Swelling in the joint
Tendons sliding over bone

The sound by itself isn’t always a big deal. But if it comes with pain, swelling, or stiffness, that’s your body telling you something is actually breaking down, not just making noise.

Regenerative medicine, like PRP, works by helping your body heal the actual damage causing that sound. It doesn’t just cover it up.

If your knee has been talking to you, maybe it’s time to listen. Swipe through, then tell us your worst joint sound story below. We’ve heard it all. 👇

We’ve had patients come in with a list longer than their receipt from Target. And honestly, it makes sense.

When one joint hurts, you start favoring it. That changes how you walk, how you sit, how you move without even noticing. A few months later your ankle hurts because your knee has been off. Your elbow hurts because you’ve been overcompensating for your shoulder. It all connects.

That’s why we don’t just treat the one spot you mention first. We look at the whole pattern.

So yes, bring the list. All 10 toes and everything in between. We’ve heard worse.

When men enter their mid-to-late 40s, the conversation usually focuses on physical changes like slower recovery or lost strength. What gets overlooked is the sudden shift in mental resilience.

Unlike female menopause, male hormone decline happens gradually at around 1% per year after age 30. Because it’s a slow build, most guys don’t notice it until the cumulative effect hits a wall. Suddenly, everyday stressors feel overwhelming, sleep gets fragmented, and an unfamiliar sense of anxiety sets in.

Testosterone plays a direct role in regulating neurotransmitters and modulating how the body handles stress. When levels drop, stress resilience goes with it. The body stays in a low-grade fight-or-flight response, leading to brain fog, night awakenings, and an unexplainable sense of dread.

The biggest issue? Most men blame themselves, assuming they’ve lost their edge, or they look for external reasons to explain the tension.

Recognizing that this is a predictable biological shift changes the entire approach. It opens the door to looking at comprehensive lab panels, adjusting recovery strategies, prioritizing sleep architecture, and restoring balance rather than just trying to push through it.

If this sounds like someone you know, it’s time to stop guessing and start looking at the bigger picture.

When my female patients tell me their testosterone pellet is starting to wear off, they usually don’t just say they’re tired. They tell me, “I feel like I hit a wall out of nowhere” or “I just woke up one day and felt completely drained again.”

Because pellet therapy provides such steady, behind-the-scenes optimization, you often don’t realize how much heavy lifting it was doing until those levels begin to drop toward the end of your cycle.

In the office, here is what women usually report back to me when it’s time for a re-pellet:
📉The abrupt energy drop: That baseline stamina you’ve been relying on suddenly vanishes, and you’re hitting a wall by 2 PM.
🧠The brain fog: You find yourself staring at your screen longer, struggling to focus or grab the right words.
😴Workout burnout: Exercises that felt great last month suddenly feel heavy, recovery takes twice as long, and muscle tone feels softer.
🫠The subtle mood shift: Motivation wanes, irritability creeps back in, and your libido drops off a cliff.
If you’re noticing this dip, it might mean it’s time for a boost, or it might mean pellets aren’t the best long-term fit for your body’s rhythm.

That’s why we don’t do one-size-fits-all care. Beyond pellets, we offer several different hormone delivery options, and we work directly with you to find the exact method and protocol that keeps you feeling steady and optimized without the rollercoaster ride.

If any of this sounds like what you’ve been experiencing lately, reach out to get on our schedule. Let’s check your levels and find the option that works best for you.
