It was meant to be a metaphor 🫣😱😂

We use the term "Bu****le Light" all the time here in clinic as a cue to maintain pelvic neutral during movement.

Important to point out: We DON'T actually recommend you shove a laser pointer up there, even for PFPT 😅 but we LOVE the visual! Thanks Madonna

📣NEW: We’re now treating male patients.
💙Pelvic floor physical therapy isn’t just for women. Men have pelvic floors too, and pelvic floor dysfunction can contribute to symptoms that are often uncomfortable frustrating or simply hard to talk about.
💙About 1 in 8 men will experience chronic pelvic pain syndrome at some point in their lives.
💙 Pelvic floor muscles can become tight, weak, overactive, or poorly coordinated in men, just like the can in women.
💙 Pelvic floor PT can be part of care for pelvic pain, urinary symptoms, bowel dysfunction, sexual pain, post-prostatectomy, recovery, and other pelvic health concerns. 💙 At Empowered Physical Therapy, we take a whole body approach to pelvic health our newest team member, Dr. Delilah Fang has advanced training in pelvic health and is now seeing both men and female patients. If you’ve been dealing with a pelvic health issue and weren’t sure pelvic floor PT was an option for you, it might be time to come in and talk about it.💙

We will forever advocate for Pelvic Floor PT prenatally as well as postpartum 🙌

Women's health can be especially neglected, making prenatal and postpartum care not the norm it should be!
